The Adventist Community Services Leader promotes programs to gather and provide clothing, food and other supplies for those in need and works closely with the Men’s Ministries, Women’s Ministries, deacons, deaconesses, and other church departments in community outreach. Adventist Community Services ministry, however, includes more than giving material aid. It focuses on identifying needs and responding with services based on these specific needs. Examples are Church Neighbor Visits, Bible Studies, educational seminars, community development, visiting, counseling, and other services relevant to the community. Among our programs are Blessings Box, God’s Closet Clothes Giveaways, Adopt Needy Elementary School Students, and the Yard and Bake Sales which enables mingling with our neighbors and sharing information about our beliefs and diet. We will offer the needy a Blessings Box for them to take what they need without any questions.
